Sept 6, 2025: Ilulissat, Greenland(day 4)

We got up early to watch the ship go thru much ice to enter the port.

I went on an iceberg cruise this morning but it was overcast with a slight rain so everything was gray and the icebergs weren’t as scenic as they could be.

In the afternoon Tibor and I went on a kayak trip- by this time the sun was out and it was beautiful. The water was calm so it was amazing. And the training we had yesterday helped as we were both able to enter and exit the zodiac to get to/from the kayaks. Tibor was way more graceful than I was. We were very happy we were on the afternoon kayak trip- we had nice weather and blue skies while the morning had cold and rainy weather.

The Viking voyagers app never did show me that I was signed up for the Iceberg Cruise. Note to self- always check with Guest Services to see what excursions we’re actually signed up for.
